This place is a heart attack on a plate... but it's the best heart attack you will ever have! :) What I mean is, if you're looking for healthy, this isn't for you. But if you are looking for delicious, indulgent, make-you-wanna-smack-your-momma food then this place is for you!
First, a disclaimer: I can honestly say, I have eaten here a few times, but I have never actually sat IN the restaurant. I always order to go. Now that we have that cleared up...
I can't eat dairy so that limits what I can eat (I know... their name is MILK and Honey. Joke is on me lol). When I first went there, I thought they could make something without the cheese. They are not able to make substitutions. However, I was able to eat their Berries and Cream French toast and it was AMAZING!!! (the cream more than likely has milk, but I am ok with small amounts of diary). Definitely one of my top 5 places for French toast in the DMV. My husband loves this place and would probably would eat their more if his wife would let him :). When my parents came to town, I sent them here and Pops said they had the best shrimp and grits he has ever had. Actually, anyone that I send here loves their food.
The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they are usually packed. They previously allowed you to get in line via Yelp (or maybe it was another platform). They no longer allow that so you have to wait. They are, however, on Uber Eats which is a win. Overall, this place is a win for me...even if all I can eat is the French Toast! -

Was on a road trip and needed a hearty breakfast. This place was perfect. Food was wonderful. The staff were even better. Restaurant was just the right size and the place felt so welcoming.
I had the Jumbo Smothered Chicken & Biscuits. Initially I was worried it would be so huge that I would be overwhelmed but the size was perfect. And the flavours were right on target.
Wish I lived closer so I could try their other items.
Very worth the visit! -

Milk & Honey
Today I wanted to try something new for breakfast before heading into the seemingly bottomless furniture pit that is Ikea. The name 'Milk & Honey' caught my attention because it invoked a certain sense of deliciousness unbeknownst to me. I didn't have a problem parking today, but I can see how it would easily become a problem during peak hours. Once I walked in, I was greeted by the most pleasant mixture of hot biscuit butter and syrup. The ambiance was very warm and welcoming, a mixture of tables and metal chairs, with some cushion couches and chairs scattered throughout. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday morning, so there was no wait. The menu looked good, minus the fact that almost everything had cheese in it, and they don't allow substitutions. "If you have an allergy, pick something else". I ended up making my own order of an a la carte combo of two biscuits, a fried egg, and bacon. The food came quickly, and the biscuits were the best I've had in this area! The egg and bacon were ok, but they're eggs and bacon, so I'm not sure how much "wow" you really expect. I did have a piece of someone elses Lobster Croissant and it was delicious, so I'm assuming just about everything else is as well.
Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 5/5
Miscellaneous: 4/5
Value: 5/5
Overall: 23/25 -

5 STAR!! Yip, I said it! This place was bomb! I'm mad I didn't plan my whole trip to come here more often, but I'll be back for sure.
We walked in with a little group and looked around the corner to see the restaurant full. I knew we were going to have to wait. Nope! We were immediately seated and our waiter promptly followed.
We couldn't decide what to get so we got a little over everything and I have no regrets. The portion sizes are large so we had more than enough on one plate, but like I said I had to try it all. I'm glad I did. This was probably the best crab Benedict I have had since Key West! The taste of the crab was authentic (not the cheap stuff) and covered in their special sauce. They blessed my chicken the same way topped on the honey biscuit (which needs its own 5 star) and drizzled with their creole sauce!
Does Uber eats deliver this to Florida?

I came back to bring my best friend . Every thing was pretty consistent with the first time... Good food and good mimosas and 15% using the yelp app! I didn't like the booth we were sat at towards the back corner. The cushions were all ripped, it's by the bathroom and it was flies everybody . That's my only complaint.
